TRANSITERCANO S.L. is a company dedicated to the transport of goods by road in trucks equipped with refrigeration equipment, both national and international. In this sense, we are aware that we are part of the food chain and that proper maintenance of the cold chain during its transport is crucial for the safety of the products that our customers entrust to us and for these to reach their destination in Optimum hygienic conditions. For this reason we have decided to implement a Food Safety Management System, documented and certified by the IFS Logistics standard, to help us achieve the planned objectives and strengthen a Culture of Quality and Food Safety in all stages of our teaching.
The TRANSINTERCANO Corporate Policy is based on a permanently integrated action, not cyclical, of each and every person in the organization to achieve continuous improvement of performance in quality of the company, focusing on the following points:
1. Provide a consistent service that meets the quality expectations of our customers.
2. Training and awareness of all the company’s staff in the aspects of food safety that their work and our organization require.
3. Properly set up and maintain vehicles to ensure our customers the safety and security of their products during the transport stage
4. Comply with all legal requirements in the field of food safety to ensure the transport of products in hygienic-sanitary conditions.
5. Ensure our ethical and professional responsibility by enhancing the culture of teamwork, so that staff feel motivated and involved, encouraging everyone’s participation.
6. Continuously improve the implemented Management System by means of annual audits according to IFS Logistics criteria.
7. Carry out the appropriate assessments and have the necessary resources to mitigate food fraud risks and strengthen food security.
8. TRANSINTERCANO guarantees environmental responsibility by participating in the social commitment to improve the environment, undertakes to carry out all its activities under the commitment to prevent any type of pollution that could be caused by them, enhancing environmental protection. It has therefore decided to calculate, report, reduce and verify its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in accordance with the ISO 14064 standard and applying the principles of relevance, integrity, consistency, Accuracy and transparency with its stakeholders and intended users. In turn, it is essential for the organization to manage the waste generated in the most environmentally friendly way, minimizing the generation of the same.
Our challenge is to position TRANSINTERCANO as a reference company in the field of temperature-controlled food transport, offering the customer the best hygienic-sanitary and environmental conditions.
As a sign of commitment, the TRANSITERCANO Management defines and supports this Corporate Policy, which makes available to customers, suppliers, workers and other interested parties, and will be reviewed periodically to ensure that it corresponds to the reality and needs of the organization. This policy serves as a framework for planning and implementing our objectives of quality, food safety and greenhouse gas reduction, so that we can continuously improve.
